In 2004 the Renault Wind was introduced as a concept car at the int. motorshow in Geneva. However, 6 years later it appeared again as being a production modell on the motorshow in Geneva in 2010.
The car looked totally different than the concept car.
Based on the platform of the Twingo II and the suspension of the Twingo RS a rear transformable Renault was created. With an electrical opening roof, disappearing in the back a good driving coupé op cabriolet could be created by one push on the button.
The Renault Wind was only 14370 times produced in the period 2010-2012.
Our car is one of the very exclusive "Collection"series. only 300 pcs were produced in Ice White or Pearl Black. Nice decals are on the car, door steps, chrome accents on the mirrors and the 2 buls on the back lid, a red transparent cover over the clocks of the dash, nice "RS"door handles, special pedals, 17 inch alloys, leather seats in 2 colours, automatic climate control, electric windows etc.
Driving: is top, closed as well as open. Luggage compartment is still there and the transforming of the car into a cabriolet (like the system of the Ferrari 575 Superamerica) does not harm the space.
Our car has been delivered new in the Netherlands and is still registered here. The odo meter has just 66000 kms (can be proven)
